What we actually do
Rack1 Networks runs a managed hosting platform for websites: static sites, PHP sites, WordPress and everything in between. We handle the infrastructure: operating systems, web servers, databases, mail, security patching, monitoring, backups and delivery And you handle your website.
We partner with reputable, well-established data centre and network providers across the industry, and we are selective about which ones. It means your site sits on genuinely good infrastructure in Dallas, with proper power, network and hardware redundancy behind it, at prices that start at $2.99 a month.
Published limits, always
Storage, bandwidth, mailboxes, databases and domains all have real numbers on every plan page. If we can't put a number on it, we don't claim it.
Speed isn't an upsell
The edge CDN and free SSL are on every plan, including the cheapest one. Charging extra to make a website fast has always seemed backwards to us.
Managed means managed
We don't hand the hard parts back to you with a knowledge-base article. If it's infrastructure, it's ours.

Traffic spikes should be good news
Getting throttled the day you're featured somewhere is a strange thing to do to a customer. Rack1 Burst adds compute automatically when demand climbs, at no extra cost.
